Size Comparison: Monette B6L S1, conventional 3E or 15A
The Unity B6L has a shallow cup for lead playing, with the exact same rim as other B6 mouthpieces. This makes it an ideal lead mouthpiece for many B6 players. As with all Unity mouthpieces, playing into the upper register with this new B6L is easier than ever before, and the middle and low registers are fatter and more secure than one would expect from a shallow-cupped lead mouthpiece.
*If you have never used our B6 rim before, we would first recommend the Unity DM-6L with its newer 'DM' lead mouthpiece rim design. But players who want the familiarity of the original B6 rim will love the B6L.
Weight:
The Unity B6L is usually made in the lightweight Unity body. It can also be made in the extra-lightweight Unity body for players who prefer an even brighter sound.
Plating & Finish:
Unity mouthpieces can be plated in 24k brushed gold or bright silver.

Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks. Unity mouthpieces for Bb and C trumpet are often available within a shorter wait time. Uncommon sizes can involve a longer wait time. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables. We cannot guarantee an exact completion date or shipping date in advance.
