Rim Size Comparison: Schilke 14A4a, 13A4a, 11A4a, 6A4a, and other similar sizes

The BL and MF lead mouthpieces are ideal for lead players that prefer smaller rim diameters and shallower cups. This size range contains most of the 'go-to' sizes for demanding upper register playing where a bright 'lead trumpet' or commercial sound is desirable.

• BLW Rim - Wider-diameter version of the BL rim, comparable to the size of a conventional 3E or 15A4a
