The same advantages that musicians all over the world have enjoyed since 2021 with our Unity trumpet, flugelhorn, and small-shank trombone mouthpiece designs, are now also available for the Bb cornet. These include:
- Faster response
- More resonant, full-bodied sound
- Cleaner articulations
- Better projection
- An upper register that is more free, more slotted, and more balanced to the other registers
- Greater consistency of pitch, timbre, and response across a wider dynamic spectrum, with great clarity and ease at the dynamic extremes
Unity Cornet mouthpieces are made in three different rim sizes, which cover the needs of the vast majority of players.
Unity Cornet mouthpieces have all-new cup designs, in three different depths, providing three different characters of sound.
All nine size options have the -7 rim design for great comfort and endurance, while also aiding in clarity of articulations and preventing a spread aperture.

Shank
Most Bb cornets use a standard cornet shank. If you have a vintage or unusual cornet and feel that you need a non-standard shank, be sure to select 'Other Shank' and click 'Add a note' during checkout to let us know what kind of cornet you have.
Plating & Finish
Unity cornet mouthpieces can be plated in 24k brushed gold, or bright silver.
Unity Mouthpieces for Bb Cornet
Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks. Mouthpieces for cornet are likely to involve a longer wait time because they are not made as often as trumpet mouthpieces. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables, including the time at which the order is placed, relative to our mouthpiece maker's next round of cornet mouthpiece production. We cannot guarantee a completion date or shipping date in advance. Thank you very much for your patience while you are waiting.
