Unity Mouthpieces: the latest generation of Monette mouthpieces
Size Comparison: Monette B4L S1 and original B4L, conventional 1-1/2 or 2 rim with Bach 'E' or Schilke 'A' cup depth
For many years the B4L size has been the go-to lead mouthpiece for players who use our B2 and B4 sizes as their main mouthpiece and are comfortable using a shallow cup depth. This new version of the B4L size has an even easier upper register, lightning fast response, and a huge resonant sound. The Unity B4L has been a favorite among many of our play testers!
*If you have never used the Monette B4L rim before, we would first recommend the Unity DM-4L with its newer 'DM' rim design. But players who want the familiarity of the original B4L rim will love the Unity B4L.
Weight:
The Unity B4L is usually made in the lightweight Unity body. It can also be made in the extra-lightweight Unity body for players who prefer an even brighter sound.
Plating & Finish:
Unity mouthpieces can be plated in 24k brushed gold or bright silver.
Unity B4L
Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks. Unity mouthpieces for Bb and C trumpet are often available within a shorter wait time. Uncommon sizes can involve a longer wait time. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables. We cannot guarantee an exact completion date or shipping date in advance.
