The B2 size range is extremely popular, especially with players who like to play with a rich, full sound.
 
Variations on the B2 rim:
  • B2W Rim: This is a wider-diameter version of the B2 rim, comparable to the B1 size range and conventional 1C mouthpieces
 
  • B2.5 Rim: This is a smaller-diameter version of the B2 rim, comparable to the B4 size range and conventional 1-1/2C mouthpieces
 
Rim & Cup Options:
*Cups for each rim are listed from shallow to deep
 
  • B2W Rim (wider diameter than B2 rim, comparable to B1 sizes and conventional 1C)
    • B2 S3 W - standard-depth cup
    • B2M S3 W - medium-deep cup
 
  • B2 Rim
    • B2L S1 - shallow lead cup
    • B2L S3 - in-between shallow and semi-shallow
    • B2LD S1 - semi-shallow 'deeper lead' cup
    • B2 S5 - standard-depth, wider shape for a wider sound
    • B2 S3 - standard-depth *extremely popular choice
    • original B2 - no longer recommended (special order only)
    • B2G S3 - very slightly deeper than the B2 S3

Classic & Prana Internal Configurations
  • Prana mouthpieces allow for the most resonant sound, most effortless playing, and most consistent pitch and timbre
  • Classic mouthpieces can feel more forgiving for players who tend to play with a tighter physical approach, or who are accustomed to a non-Monette mouthpiece
 
Weight:
  • Mouthpieces with standard-depth or deeper cups are usually made in the standard-weight Resonance body.
  • Mouthpieces with shallower 'lead' cups are made in the lightweight Resonance LT body.
  • If you feel that you need a non-standard weight, just add a note to your order during checkout.
 
Plating & Finish:
Classic mouthpieces have a shiny, buffed 24k gold finish
Prana mouthpieces have a brushed 24k gold finish
