Weight

Large-shank mouthpieces are made in two weights:

  • Standard Weight - Provides the best stability, most full-bodied sound, and easiest projection
  • Lightweight - For players who prefer a brighter sound, lighter feel, and a bit more feedback behind the horn

All low brass mouthpieces are made with the Prana internal configuration

  • Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. Trombone mouthpieces usually can only be made a few times per year and are likely to involve a significantly longer wait time than a trumpet mouthpiece. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables. The standard estimated wait to have a trombone mouthpiece made is approximately 6 months. We cannot guarantee a completion date or shipping date in advance. Thank you very much for your patience while you are waiting.
