An enormous portion of the trumpet-playing world is accustomed to a conventional 7C, 5C, or 3C mouthpiece size and the original Monette C6 was our equivalent to this size range, made for C trumpet. With its standard-depth cup and full, balanced sound, the C6 became a very popular choice. When its cup contour was modernized in the mid 2000s the C6 became the C6 S1 and it has been one of our most popular rim/cup options ever since.

Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks. Unity mouthpieces for Bb and C trumpet are often available within a shorter wait time. Uncommon sizes can involve a longer wait time. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables. We cannot guarantee an exact completion date or shipping date in advance.
