Many players who use the B6 S1 as their main mouthpiece (with its rim size comparable to the rim size of a conventional 3C) want a lead mouthpiece with the same B6 rim. The B6L S1 with its shallow 'lead' (L) cup is the answer. The fairly shallow cup of the B6L S1 makes for a bright sound and great support in the upper register.

Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks.
