An enormous portion of the trumpet-playing world is accustomed to a conventional 7C, 5C, or 3C mouthpiece size and the original Monette B6 was our equivalent to this size range. With its standard-depth cup and full, balanced sound, the B6 became one of our few most popular sizes. When its cup contour was modernized in the mid 2000s the B6 became the B6 S1 and it has been one of our most popular rim/cup options ever since.

Monette mouthpieces are made-to-order and usually will not be available as ready-made stock. The standard estimated wait time to have a trumpet mouthpiece made is approximately 6-8 weeks. Unity mouthpieces for Bb and C trumpet are often available within a shorter wait time. Uncommon sizes can involve a longer wait time. The exact wait time is unpredictable, as it is affected by many variables. We cannot guarantee an exact completion date or shipping date in advance.
