| Picture jasper is a type of Agate that has great bands of different colors. It's typically found in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. The "pictures" that turn up in picture jasper stones look strikingly similar to landscapes, which is why we have used them in inlay that depicts mountain scenes, etc. We have yet to make solid picture jasper inlaid buttons, but we're ready anytime. We think the material is just stunning! |
